Tarek & Ramirez feat Cristina Soto - Say Goodbye

After the successful release of the latin-stormer Desabafo, Tarek teams up with his pal Luis Ramirez and vocalist Cristina Soto to bring you a another timeless piece of true house music. Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, the producer/musician/composer Tarek creates a unique musical experience, which he achieves by blending in his productions influences from musical genres like Bossa Nova, Jazz, Funk and Broken beats. As a DJ, Tarek as shared his musical vision across the globe, performing at key cities like Beirut, Istanbul, Amsterdam, New York, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, San Diego, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, and, of course, his home-town Rio de Janeiro, where he hosts the monthly party “Ritual”.

The main mix of Say Goodbye is a deep and mellow house affair, featuring sweet and smooth keys and live congas flowing together with Cristina’s soothing voice. Included in the pack are the Licksamba Dub and Licksamba Instrumental, both adding a more techy-edged vibe to the game.

The other mixes of the package are courtesy of the Steve SoulBasics, Marc Coterell, our head-honcho Wagner D and Luife from Chile. The first is a smooth e sexy latin-house scorcher, featuring sweet rhodes action and a lovely sax solo towards the end; the second, a deeper than deep take that is all about the heart-pounding beats and the rumbling b-line; the third, simple edit of the original featuring 4x4 style beats; and the later, a mellow interpretation where the piano solo is the main attraction.

And just before the release going online, the Brazilian Soul Crew provided us with a groovy interpretation full of wonderful melodies.
