Worlwide acclaimed DJ/Producer Jay Tripwire debuts on Grooveland Music with an über-hot collaboration with Boddhi Satva.
Jay Tripwire needs no introduction. Hailing from Canada, Jay have sold 250,000 vinyl records and has 100+ releases and remixes under his belt on established labels as Conya, Tango, Nightshift, Nordic Trax, Nervous and Real Tone. DJ Magazine even stated that Jay “is responsible for some of the most exciting underground house music to come out of North America in recent years”.
Born and raised in Central African Republic, Boddhi Satva started making music back in 1994. But it was after he moved to Brussel and met Alton Miller that he got involved with the dance music scene. Since then, Boddhi has produced, remixed and sung music for labels like Atal, Yoruba, Vega, Seasons; and runs his own imprint Offering Records.
Now, both artists join forces to bring you Dema, a deep and techy house affair featuring Jay’s typical bouncy b-line and synth chords and Boddhi’s unmistakable african chants.
Dema is already receiving huge support from top jocks around the globe like Jon Cutler, Andy Ward, Michael Fossati, Ricardo Costa, Marlon D, Murray Richardson, Fabio Genito, Henri Kohn, Steve SoulBasics, BitterSuite, Louie Vega, Matthew Bandy, Graham Sahara, Myles Chalmers, Sammy Rock, Charles Spencer, Trinidadian Deep, among many others.
